She has also written about the burgeoning Afro-Argentine community, the business of Brazilian fashion and injured jaguars in the Pantanal, among many other things. Her work has appeared in brand-name outlets including Vogue Business, the LA Times, Insider, the WSJ and more.
She spent years jumping around and working at different newspapers in the U.S. before becoming a foreign correspondent covering renewable energy in Latin America while based in Rio de Janeiro. She then spent six years at Bloomberg News writing and editing stories about equities across the Americas, and helped launch a very successful daily newsletter for subscribers.

Christiana has a bachelor's degree in English from Pace University and a master's degree in journalism from New York University. She recently completed a master's degree in media psychology for fun.
